I tried this product as well as another similar product, but the feature updates that have been implemented in the newest versions make this the best program out there for downloading from streaming platforms, especially for the Amazon Module. The good thing about Amazon is you can add subscriptions like Britbox, Showtime, and so many more...so it is like having multiple streaming accounts in place. Here is the specifics about the Amazon Module that make this a winning piece of software for me, first you can of course decide AAC or EAC codec for audio, you can also choose the video codec H264 (codec on blu-rays and all streaming services) or H265 (newer codec which is used on 4k Bluray and right now is on Amazon and HBOMax streaming services). The breakout feature for me is the video bitrate option of CBR (constant bitrate) or CVBR (constrained variable bitrate). The CBR option is unique to this program only so if you are all about the video quality like myself you will love this feature specially for newer TV or Movies and you also can choose the resolution (480p, 540p, 576p, 720p or 1080p) when adding videos to the queue. You can also add more stuff to your subscription library by using a VPN (NordVPN recommended) and accessing Amazon via UK, Germany and more. Lets not forget the batch mode where you can add an entire season. Start it and go to Bed and when you wake up you got a season done. I haven't tried the schedule a new TV show episode for downloading feature as I am focusing more older completed shows, but can't wait to try it. Pretty sure I am missing more great features. They are also adding new streaming services all the time. You can trial it before you purchase so you can make up your own mind. I highly recommend this software. |
