My GF gave me a copy of the Professional Edition for Christmas many years ago, and when I installed it the .wav/.mp3 recording options were ready to use. Since it did that pretty well (the best I have ever tried, actually), I never looked into what else it could do.
Later when I had a more powerful computer, I tried many different programs to do screen recording, and none of the ones I tried worked that well. Just as I was about to give up on the idea, a friend of mine suggested that since I had the Professional Edition of Total Recorder I could upgrade to the VideoPro Edition for free, so I did. Screen recording isn't as basic as audio recording, so it took me awhile to figure out how it works, but once I did I have nothing but praise for this program. All those other programs I tried, and I had Total Recorder VideoPro available to me all along. |
