Many thanks to the author for updating and keeping alive this excellent free software over the years.
I have been having issues recently with the XMedia Recode installation but not with the portable version. I deleted the settings files in the XMedia Recode folder in C:Users(Your Name)AppDataRoamingXMedia Recode and the installed version works fine again.
