Yep it's buggy, but so are a lot of the other programs. And I have about decided since so many of us have different probs with it maybe it's just conflicts. Welcome to the world of computers. Here is what I have found out & don't ask why just believe me. Ready to capture? Unplug the phone line. Just do it. Or drop frames like crazy. I drop 30 frames in 5 minits with the line plugged in/ Capture 90 minits with line unplugged with zero dropped frames. Go figure. Double click to add text & the old error pops up. Don't click on the error/ drag it off the screen and do your text. & as long as the old error box is hanging out there the next time it won't pop up. I capture full quality dv and burn DVD's. Never over 54 minits per disc. Don't put stills in front of any video or it will throw audio out of sync. Put stills at end of video. Godd Luck....... |
