On Windows XP, Media Player Classic Homecinema may be unable to use LAV Filters for playing DVDs. Here is the workaround that I've found:
open MPC-HC (or MPC-BE), goto "Options", "External Filters", and then add "LAV Video Decoder", add Media Type "MEDIATYPE_DVD_ENCRYPTED_PACK", add Sub Type "MEDIASUBTYPE_MPEG2_VIDEO". |
