Machine powered on, no disc in tray Press 0 five times at approx 1 second intervals Press the "REPEAT" button (NOT the "repeat a-b") Enter the following sequence - 5,7,5,3,8,9 As you press the 8 you should see an '8' appear briefly on the screen in a triangle. Open and close the tray, and there you have it, multiregion. It took me two attempts to get it to work, I think you have to be pretty quick on the number input. Hope it's useful. | |||

Region 1 use 2,9,3,3,4,9 Region 2 use 5,7,5,3,8,9 (Worked for John) Region 3 use 5,6,7,3,2,9 Region 4 use 7,6,8,8,4,9 (Worked for me) Region 5 use 5,3,8,1,4,9 Region 6 use 2,4,4,6,2,9 Good luck. | |||

I successfully made my HR735 purchased in Feb07 in Belgium (zone2 factory setting) multi-region by applying a mix of hints given for other Samsung DVDR on this great site: power ON, no disc in tray using remote control: type REPEAT key type keys 57538 quickly typed on remote (you might need to use the other codes if you factory region setting is not 2) the current region code appears in the upper left corner of the screen (2 in my case) type 9 to make it multi-region "9" appears on the screen instead of "2" wait 15 seconds open tray close tray power off power ON you should be OK viewing all regions from now | |||

One more word. The DVD payer needs to be setup, that is a channel assigned to each programme. It did not work for me until I did the setup. Then the steps advised by the others, switch off, on, setup, 5,7,5,3,8 and quickly 9 while 9 still appears on the TV screen, then open and close tray. No need for the zeros apparently | |||
