When I saw the word "DVD Backup" I immediately downloaded the program and tried it. Not having a clue about DivX my first 2 attempts were failures so I started a search on DivX and discovered I needed DivX Codec, a DivX Player, and if I wanted to play it to my TV a DivX standalone player. I installed the codec and player and tried my "backup again". The video results were great but no sound so I checked the faqs and found out I should check that ....... dohhhhh. Did another and WOW, it came out perfect and the quality is outstanding. And so simple, even for the amateur who fumbles around like me! Now I can do my DVD backups to an 8 cent CD-R and play to my TV when I get the bucks for the player!! This is amazing ... I'm surprised I don't see more discussin in the forum. |
