Studio 8 is widely known to be among the most problem plagued multimedia authoring software ever released. It simply does not perform anywhere near to the level of comparable authoring programs.
The interface is attractive to neophytes, and that is exactly the type of user drawn to Pinnacle Sudio 8. Sadly, the program almost without fail produces unusable end results.
The constant stream of "bug fixes" which are really beta testing of software indicates that the company has created a product that keeps failing. If one checkl Pinnacle's site users are now being urged to go back several bug fix versions because the latest cause more trouble than previous bug fixes.
The main problem is this program will continuously produce videos with the audio and video out of synchronization, even though your original source files are in perfect synch.
Ratings on amazon.com, google "groups" indicate that the purchasers of this product feel "ripped-off" by these problems and the abject failure of Pinnacle to provide support for this product. It is clear they have abandoned it and its purchasers.
There are many products out there in the same range without Pinnacle studio's fatal flaws.
