I have Pinnacle Studio 8 Deluxe AV/DV which includes the software, capture card, and AV break out box (Blue Box).
I use this Pinnacle system to do it all, capture analog video, edit, and burn to vcd or dvd. I have had absolutely no problems with this system and don't understand all the negative feedback. I can only speculate that some here may be refering to Studio 8 SE which comes bundled with a lot of new PC's ... this is NOT the full version. Some may also be lacking the CPU power to run this software. I have an intel 2.6 GHZ P4 with an 800 MHZ FSB and HT technology ... I have _never_ encountered any problems with my Pinnacle Systems Studio 8, and I would recommend the Studio 8 Deluxe AV/DV system. It's an all in one package that does it all from capturing to finished product ... vcd, dvd, or even back to vhs tape. |
