To gonwk:
...There is absolutely no trojan in Celtic Druid 's build.
Don't know about the original version, haven't used it,
at least in the latest versions. But I bet that even for them,
it's just a stupid false positive by some AV products.
FU,as the FairUse executable is called,
is also the name of a old, easily detectable nowadays rootkit.
My guess, that this would be the main reason for these warnings?
Money for nothing:
this pretty much shows the quality of nowadays AV products,
as most of them frequently detect NSIS installers or say,
UPX packed executables,as infected,"suspicious" etc...
FairUse is open-source,
everyone can download the code and compile it for him/herself,
why should they put a trojan in it?
The one edition/version is sold when in binary form,
therefore targeted as a supplemententary for making a living,
celtic_druid on the other side,
a well-known/respectable member on various video-related forums,
decided to share/make publicly available his personal build,
since he made a lot of interesting modifications in it.
You can read all about it here:

To the rest of the people, that stated there is a virus/trojan:
a)Learn how to use your OS.Period.
b)Learn to interpret your "super-secure" AV product's results,
before spreading wrong impressions in the rest of the world... |
