Works pretty well and is free, but has some annoying omissions.
Pros:
* Plays most audio and video files, except for AVI.
* Plays Nero "NRG" DVD image files like they were DVDs. (Even Nero Showtime can't do that.)
Cons:
* No ability to rewind.
* Can't immediately resume playback (by hitting "Play" or something) while fast-forwarding. You have to hit the "slow-down" button as many times as you hit the fast-forward button. So if you hit the fast forward button a few times to increase the fast forward speed, and you get to the part you want to watch, you can't quickly stop fast forwarding. You have to slow it down step by step.
* No ability to play AVI files.
* Clunky interface.
You get what you pay for, and this is free.
