I tried version 10. I hoped that this version would solve the old bugs.
From functionality point of view I didn't see any great features better than version 9.3.
From bugs point of view this version is as bad as the old version.
When I started it the SW told me my video card is not good. I had G-Force 440 MX with 64 MB. So I went and bought a new card G-Force 6600 with 256MB of memory.
It didn't help too much.
The SW is full of bugs:
1: It hangs too many times when you do save.
2: Performance degrades dramatically when you create a clip longer than 8 min.
3: The graphics icons lose the colors and you don't see any part of the clip or photo. You need to reboot the system to solve that.
4: The system write and read too much to the disk and slow the system.
5: The sound generator don't work.
The SW has a very nice and simple interface with a lot of capabilities. But you spent too much time on the bugs.
The funny part is that now after you kill the process it has a built in mechanism to sent bug report. so you spent additional 1 min on this tool. It is like using the users as lab testers.
For me this is the last time. I am moving to other SW.
