First off, UltraIso's pros are not video related. If you like to organize your project with a widely used format, because it is easy to mount or to burn onto CD / DVD, you will love UltraIso.
Create ISO-images from DVD/CD-ROM or any harddisc contents. UltraIso can edit Images of the most popular burning software. Converted to the international standard ISO 9660 you can burn the new image with DVD Decrypter :) or any burning software. You can also check the image before burning, simply mount the image (windows users need a virtual CD/DVD-ROM drive like Deamon-Tools).
If you want to add some files to a new authored Video-DVD (I like to add the cover), load the *.iso, that you have created with dvdauthor or imagetool, add any files, save. That's all.
Extract boot images from bootable CD-ROM, create bootable images.
Of course, there are a couple of free command line tools, that do the same job for free, but if you like to have an intuitive GUI, UltraIso is the software, that you have searched for.
Yes, there are some cons of course. If you delete some files from an image, save it as a new file, because UltraIso does not delete the file but change the TOC only, I think. Also I had problems with some multisession discs like some so-called copy-protected audio-CD.
Well, the authors of UltraIso offer free updates for a lifetime and free email support.
So UltraIso is still not perfect but definitely worth the 30 bucks.
