I tried two programs for converting DVD to DivX and I don't need to try any more. This one gives incredible results and far outshone DrDivX (the first program I tried). I can't say I've noticed any difference between the DivX and XviD output, they both look amazing. I have a Medion DVD player (a bargain 50 quid from amazon.co.uk) which handles DivX discs and the results are great. As an experiment I converted The Sound of Music,it is about the longest film I have in my collection, and it looks stunning. That's an almost 3 hour film shrunk down to fit onto one CD-R. With one or two initial settings this becomes a one click program if you prefer it that way, just insert the DVD click ok and an hour or so later you have your DivX file ready to burn to disc. Just great, I love it. |
