I don't know how much easier a Windows video editing app can get than Studio 7 or 8! If you build a house on a sand dune, thanks to the unstable foundation, it will eventually collapse on you. Flawless functionality of an app running on Windows is absolutely unreasonable. S8 is as good as it gets for the price...even 5 times the price. If Pinnacle would care more about quality and less about releasing something, ANYTHING, then the product versions wouldn't look like DNS addresses and would likely work more reliably. If you want Flawless, out-of-the-box functionality, get a MAC ! I am tossing my PC's for good and getting a new G5. 64bit,1Ghz bus and OS X running W2k on virtual PC6 has made my wintel 1.6Ghz completely obsolete.
