An honest review of clever FFmpeg-GUI.
pros:
- Quick software update cycle. The tool gets better every single week.
- Very responsive developer; @ProWo, Many thanks for your hard work, and quick replies.
- GUI exposes a lot of FFMPEG features, and it updates itself nicely.
- App is tiny in size [300kb], a huge plus for me.
- It is free, and I hope it stays free going forward.
Cons:
- App is very buggy, and it exists in constant Beta status. Too many bugs to list here.
Thank you @Findu for your help in testing the tool.
- App isn't designed very well; sorry @ProWo. Try for more design time and less coding time.
- App is not really portable, it relies on FFMPEG, which is not included, and still uses Virtualdub2 for cut selection.
It also relies on .NET 4.8 which needs to be installed.
And finally, many thanks to @ProWo, and to the FFMPEG team for a great peace of free software.
I hope I wasn't too harsh in my review.
