The problem is not the software perse but the changes in the build of ffmeg which your pc system might have problems with or conflicts with existing software within your pc environment as in shared dll's or libraries. That is why it might be better to run it as a portable, if you see a lot of crashes. Avidemux for example is very stable run as a portable, but installed can see a lot of crashes. No computer is exempt from errors or runs smoothly. Older builds of ffmeg are very stable. Use Super simple Video Converter 2015 portable or Pazers MP4 Video Converter and you will see zero crashes. Great alternatives if you see problems with XMedia or AviDemux. |
