I love finding a tool that does what I need and does it exceptionally well (and as a bonus: looks good while it's doing it). I was looking for a GUI frontend for FFMPEG that would split .mp4 video files that I have that each contain multiple TV show episodes, in order to split them each into one individual file per episode. My main requirement of the task: to do so withOUT re-encoding. I've used ffmpeg command-line to do this, and that does it well, but it's a bit tedious. Today I googled and found LosslessCut, tried it for the first time, and it makes quick and easy work of it! I've only used it for a half an hour, and I don't often post reviews for things, (and I have no affiliation whatsoever to the developer), but this tool deserves the credit! This is a great piece of software! |
