FU Wizard has only let me down once in all these years on one tricky NTSC mixed hybrid or pure interlaced DVD source? when some of its video segments were repeated in parts using the program's recommended ivtc option. The messed up encode might have been my choice of ripper rather than FU wizard messing up the vobs processed into a dodgy iso file. Otherwise I've done tons of transcodes over the years without a glitch. The iso input only is a pain but it is what it is and still works remarkably well! I also like Avi.NET but that cannot ivtc at all but deinterlace only which is no use for most NTSC DVD as they tend to be telecined-film 24fps changed to 29.97fps. FU Wizard can handle most of these DVD types very well. |
