For everyone getting an error about VCRUNTIME140.dll being missing when trying to launch, quickest/simplest solution is to put that file in the root of your XMedia Recode folder. You may already have the file elsewhere - try searching your C drive for it. Once you find it, either on your PC or elsewhere, put a copy in your XMedia Recode folder. Note: it can't be a shortcut to the file, it must be an actual copy of the file.
The other tip I'd give is to anyone with a recent nVidia GPU. Be sure to change the video codec to the "(Nvidia NVENC)" version of AVC/H.264 or HEVC/H.265 if you want to save a ***LOT*** of encoding time. The GPU can process the encoding MUCH faster than the CPU. |
