@ Doomsday.a: try to play HD movies with Built-in Video Codec/Transform turned off (visible in 'Filters' among external codecs/splitters needed to play the video). For me it doubles up CPU usage when playing (Ultra)HD - h.264 (AVC) and h.265 (HEVC). Preferences - Filter Control - (go to the right) Built-in Video processing filter settings - Condition: Disable with the following conditions and choose the conditions: FourCC, Extension, Frame Rate, etc.
Did you download the Open codecs during installation? In the internal filters/decoders setting you have a few decoder to choose (OpenCodecUnity, FFmpeg, Libav). Or try external ones like LAV Filters. |
