Nice program. Interface is pretty good. Very good output. Doesn't dump flaky codecs into Windows, though I'd expect that from a Linux port.
It's not technically compatible with win7 ... apparently it's written in an open source pascal that's not available yet ... but I haven't had any problems.
While it looks easier than some, I find you still have to know something about formats. It's no Handbrake (or vidcoder) in that respect.
It's still pretty powerful. I'd recommend it.
But I've basically been using either Handbrake / Vidcoder or avidemux to convert. To me this is more of an avidemux alternative. I don't think winff is really resolved enough to make me stop using avidemux. |
