Unfortunately it lacks support for diacritics (quite used in my native language) that make this little application useless for my subtitle works. I guess it could work for English subtitles, but having "Subtitle Edit" program, who needs anything more...

Brilliant Little Tool.

Very good piece of software. It does what it promises, it's easy to use, unobtrusive and flexible. It generates a file in various formats (I tested ASS) that can be pasted onto the video file (I use Avidemux to do so). I couldn't ask for more.

Very nice tool.

These tool could open many "difficult-to-read" subtitles in my personal tests. And very important: could save them correctly later!

To save subtitles Jubler its very nice too. Specially when you need to use Unicode to "fancy" or non-occidental languages: chinese, greek, etc.

I recommend this software.
