I use this and rarely need to install much of anything else as far as codecs.
It has a lot of built-in filters for both video and audio and is very configurable.
The video filters can also be used in Virtualdub via the ffvdub plugin that can be selected during installation.
However, in recent betas, the ffvdub plugin is causing Virtualdub to crash. I used the ffvdub plugin filters for years with no problems, but the last several releases cause instant crashes. Rolling back several versions seems to fix it, so an ongoing bug seems to have been introduced at some point. |
