I was looking to take episodes and make them into a dvd disk for storage. AVI2DVD would not recognize that my audio track was in the .avi so I kept looking. I used DVD flick to take 4 avi episodes, make a basic menu and turn into dvd compliant files that I then checked, then burned. They look very good on my 1080P projection screen with upconverting dvd player.
I felt compelled to get a user name, login, and write this review. I'm very grateful. I did not have any problems with popups or whatever.
This is basic but it does a good job of encoding. I used to use DVDFAB but can find the license. The output quality seems similar.
Two things would be nice 1) be able to clip the .avi tracks to cut off the intro/credits 2) able to make your own menu screen picture.
Both probably have workarounds that I'll figure out sometime. Sure I can edit the clips somehow before I import them. Probably can figure out how to make my own menu template. |
