As many have already pointed out in this forum, DVD Shrink is an amazing tool. My main reason for this post is to mention how I am using DVD Shrink.
I have an IO Magic DVD burner (IDVDRW4DB, aka Optorite DD0203) and I discovered that some DVD burning software programs (e.g. DVDXCopy) don't support this drive. Thankfully, DVD Shrink allows me to extract out the files from the DVD and I was able to successfully burn using Nero Burning ROM 6.0 (for movie backups only).
So, for those using the IDVDRW4DB and having problems making movie backups, just use DVD Shrink and Nero and you'll be on your way. |
