I love this tool. I am a previous DVD2ONE user and used to champion it since it was the fastest tool and since ripping the movie only gave me a good quality backup. While I never cared for extra features on a DVD, I still bemoaned the fact that DVD2ONE did not let me at least keep the menu structure. Having the menus and being able to access specific scenes gives my copies more of an original copy feel to them. The whole process does take a little longer than DVD2ONE, but being able to keep the menu and the fact that it has a writer built in make the extra time well worth it. This program is a great compromise for those who want great quality backups but don't want all of the menus and extras completely gutted. |
