As a long term user of the freeware version and a recent Pro version upgrader, this, used in conjunction with CCE Basic is by far a superior method to produce lower bitrate backups of my dvd's than any transcoders I've used. The difference was more obvious when moving from a smaller CRT TV to a larger HDTV. With the 6-7 to 1 cost difference of double layer blanks vs single layer blanks, I prefer this over double layer media. |
