I tried it at first, got a series of error reports and no files.
Then I realized I was trying it on a commercial, protected DVD, the first one I grabbed for a test. So I took an unprotected DVD, and it worked smoothly, rather quickly, and rendered all MPEGs from the VOBs that were on the disk.
As the first warning I saw mentioned it uses a lot of memory, my 1 GB RAM might have helped a bit. The processor is not a speed demon, just a Sempron 2.8. So it seems that the key is memory.
Taking the chance, nothing could be easier to use. Tell the program where the VOBs are, where you want the MPGs, click on the Start button, and it does the job. Easier than operating a microwave oven! |
