I wanted to back up a few Region 3 discs [my drive is Region 1], but didn't want to change the region of my drive and didn't want to risk flashing the firmware. DVD Region Killer didn't work for me [perhaps because my drive isn't region free, but not sure], and this program did the job perfectly. I just popped in the DVD, watched the little smiley do his thing, and ran it through DVD Shrink. Bam! Successful Region 3 --> All Region backup, without the risk a messing with BIOS [I have no idea what I'm doing in DOS.] |
