it is not true that anyone could remove the spyware "DAE.DLL" from their system! in fact only advanced users could perform the tasks needed to safely remove the shit! even doom9 guide has not complete instructions on how to remove it completely. see what the author of doom9 has answered to me "Yes, I'm fully aware of that. In fact I even added a warning to my AutoGK guide about this and instructions on how to get rid of the nasty bugger. Yet, since the application works just fine without that software, and
because you shouldn't use IE anyway except for WindowsUpdate, I don't feel it's a big enough thing to not support AutoGK anymore." well, the true thing is that there is a link in add/remove programs witch fakes that removes the "DAE.DLL". in fact it is only removes the link itself leaving the spyware to its place. users should remove it manualy from their system32 directory as well with the installed BHO on internet explorer! i guess we all should report this shit to the authors of the spyware-remove software that we use on our machines. i already sent a report to the spybot sd team so they will place it in their base. |
