DVD Rebuilder is not really "one click" if you have to decrypt and re-author the DVD on the side.. Some people have trouble with setting up AVISync and the like. SO I'd call it an intermediate level program leaning on the beginner's side.
It's a fantastic way to re-encode a DVD. It does take a lot of time and CPU horsepower for full quality, but it makes a beautiful copy. If you want the quick and nasty drop and burn, DVD Shrink is still my first choice for FAST movie-only transcoding (or the movie and a few short extras) and genuine one-click simplicity. 90% of what I turn out with the 'Shrink "looks just like the original" to most viewers.
But If you're more the Slow and Steady type, or if this is a movie you REALLY care about, and it's GOT to be beautiful--DVD Rebuilder is the first choice. For 9to5-ing more complex extra-long movies and those heavily loaded supplemental DVDs, especially if you just MUST keep the DTS track, Rebuilder can't be beat. Seriously. In the end it really matters how much you need to squeeze onto one DVD.
DVD Rebuilder = Long Time/High Quality
DVD Shrink = Very quick/Varying Quality. |
