How good or bad is it? I have no idea- it has such a hideous interface that i couldn't even figure out how to load a video file to test it.
It's great it has so many bells and whistles! It's very UNgreat that basic functions are often buried in its complex jumbled interface. I grumbled about the nerdiness of MPC-HC but one can figure out its main functions, and ignore the high-powered functions, if one wishes. With QM-Play2 that's far harder. I wanted to remove its playlist panel to the right, and find its thumbnail preview on timeline (if any). I never managed either.
And not a syllable of help. You can omit that if you have a simple GUI but you can't with a junkpile like QMP2. Lotsa luck if you try this one. You'll need it, or a whole lot of video experience. If you're a mere joe 6pack like yours truly, AVOID!
