I've been using Dvdfab for several years, and version 13 is the most accomplished version, very easy to use.
It offers many modes, but does not always explain clearly the differences. For instance to rip a DVD the default selected is to get a 720p but on most recent DVD you select manually a higher resolution up to 1024 pixels width for 428 pixels height. Why isn't the highest supported resolution selected by default ? A brief explanation to explain the pros and cons of selecting a non default resolution would be helpful as CRT televisions that supported only 720 interlaced have disappeared and most video files are watched on tablets or HD TV that support pretty much any resolution.
But for people happy with default configurations, this is a great software. |
