"Avisynth Info Tool" saved my day to find out why AviSynthPlus installation did not work on my new Windows 11 computer while AviSynth works as expected on my old Windows7.
The app told me that the required ["Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables"](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170) were not installed.
Unfortunately neither the AviSynthPlus-installer nor the [get_started.html page](https://avs-plus.net/get_started.html) mentioned this important detail.
