What a great little proggy. I've gone from DVD X Copy to DVD Shrink for most of my DVD backups. Yes, I've tried all the more complex user-adjustable methods as well. DC4U, DIF4U, DVD Rebuilder, TMPEG DVD Author, Audition, Scenarist, ReAuthorist, Intervideo DVD Copy, ad infinitum. But this is the absolute quickest way to make a quality backup. I use DVD Encrypter to rip to HDD and then Clone DVD takes over. It will even erase a RW for you if you forgot, before it burns. No processing files to clean up after the burn(except those left by DVD Encrypter). And it will even copy DVD to DVD on the fly, though I haven't tried that yet. The quality of the copy was extraordinary. Colors were super vivid and crisp. No vertical bars or banding and stills were excellent. |
