Somewhat limited utility. It cannot handle MPEG-2 (m2v) video files, which are the most common files found in DVDs. So, if you are trying to retain the original quality of a DVD’s video file and all you need to do is to edit the file, you will have to convert it to some other file type, such as x264, in order to use this utility. Of course, that defeats the effort to retain the original quality. |
