The installer version of 2.9.6 contains no malware or adware. The installation is clean as long as you download from an official source. However, if anyone has any apprehensions about installing it, then go with the portable version as suggested previously.
Now, I will go one step further and tell you this program is the best DVD Authoring freeware program available today; period! IT is a complete authoring package so don't miss the opportunity to try it!
