I have been using Pinnacle Studio from version 7 with DC-10 plus analog video capture card. Recently I upgraded to Studio 8 DV and it works great.
The DVD creation options are not as flexible as I need. The way I work with this program is:
1. I capture an AVI file using my DV card and a Sony miniDV camera as an Analog-Digital converter.
2. I edit the video using Studio 8 and render the final result to an MPEG-II file
3. Using Ulead DVD Workshop 1.0 I create the VCD/SVCD/DVD
This software is really easy to use and has great editing functionality. The only think I would add is the ability to add sound from WAV and MP3 files and not only from a micfrophone or from a CD.
