I used Pinnacle Studio Plus 9 for a while on a machine with Windows XP Professional and it worked fine. I have since moved it to my Windows 2000 Professional machine instead (my family doesn't surf the internet and get viruses and junk on the Windows 2000 box). With some other software and codecs competing with it it had problems, but since reinstalling the OS and adding Pinnacle Studio, pretty much letting it have the computer to itself, it works flawlessly and I've done some really good work with it. It's either very CPU intensive or a bit of a memory hog, because it can still pause for a few seconds when performing some tasks, but I can live with that. No real complaints here.
