Do yourself a favor and stick to version 5.5.10.x if you want smooth and proper DVD-Video burning.
All I ever got myself (and heard from others) with version 6.x was headaches and coasters.
FINALLY, Nero is ONLY a tool for burning. If you try to use any of the other features (capture, author, shrink, encode, etc) then you'll very likely be highly disappointed. Ahead is a burning technology company. All these other non-burning features work pretty inferior compared to REAL tools designed at doing those functions. You've been warned.
