GratefulVisitor , I cannot thank you enough , I have so little knowledge on programming. First I found the untruck from a youtube video , then on github but because I don't know any coding .I couldn't use github. Google search also brought this site and your comment was the one make it possible for me to save my very precious video call record with a dear friend of mine. Our recording couldn't finished bc pc crashed and obs was still recording with mp4 for settings.. Then I also learned from reddit

Just don't record to mp4 directly. Use flv (single audio track) and mkv (multiple audio tracks), they are crash resistant and can be converted to mp4 in a few seconds using the file > Remux command in OBS.
Would never record with mp4 again , and always run the obs in safe mode , its under help bar ( restart in safemode ) |
