Issue solved, I fixed the issue by right clicking and going to compatability settings > Change high DPI settings > checked the box for Program DPI to fix scaling issues > Selected 'I open this program' > Checked the box for Overriding high DPI scalling behaviour > Selected 'System'.
Now the program boots perfectly.
