Sefy's Complete DVD Backup Guide v2.6
Using - Decompress - MP3 VBR Audio

This nice little program comes with AVI2VCD (created by John Schlichther) and can fix an AVI file that was encoded with an MP3 VBR Audio. What it does is take an AVI encoded with MP3 VBR and converts it to a simpler AVI with PCM audio which you can simply use any encoder with it.

File Information - Before you start, check the type of Audio Compression being used in your DivX/XviD file, after you open it, look under the "Audio" section in GSpot, and check the "Codec" name.

Step 1 - Click on "Browse" then select your source AVI file and the program will automaticly write a new file name with "_pcm" added.

Step 2 - Click on "Decompress" and let the program work, when it's done, click on "Exit" and load your new AVI file in any Encoder!
NOTE: Do NOT frameserve this AVI file, cause that will cause the Sync Problem again! Just Encode the new AVI file as is!
