DVDShrink is a free software to backup DVD disks. You can use this software in conjunction with DVD burning software of your choice, to make a backup copy of any DVD video disk. DVD Shrink is no longer updated. If you have trouble ripping use the free DVDFab Decrypter to rip and then use DVD Shrink to shrink it.
Rapid Menu Writer is a wizard for creating very simple DVD menus to already made DVDs. Rapid Menu Writer is fast and efficient! It can add a menu to a DVD in seconds, and uses only a fraction of your hard disk space. Examples of how Rapid Menu Writer can be used include: adding a menu to a DVD merged by DVDFab or adding a menu to a DVD re-authored by DVDShrink. Requires PGCEdit(free) and DVDStyler(free).
Titlewriter is a program to used to add DVD_TEXT, and (Re)Add Original or Generic Menus to Dvd Compiliations (Specifically designed for DVDShrink reauthored mode Compiliations). DVD_TEXT is almost a requirement for dvd jukebox players internal menu systems and only about 13% of commercial disks contain it. If you ever get a jukebox and haven't been titlewriting you'll find out what a pain you're in for.
FixVTS is a very tiny tool that allows you to adjust your DVD files into better DVD compliance, so they can be opened in DVDShrink, vobblanker or other DVD softwares. This is especially useful if your DVD had some kind of copy protection or recorded with a DVD Recorder that prevents DVDShrink, Vobblanker, etc from opening it. FixVTS can fix that for you. Development stopped.
