Not working. Piece of shit, error on the startup.

Have exact same issue as vkmunn, crashes superfast after displaying "The runtime terminated..." error

I downloaded the install program from 2 different sources. After installing and clicking to donate (that part with Paypal worked just fine) but when I started up the program Windows gave an error "The runtime terminated in an unusual manner and was shutdown. Refer this to the software engineers". I tried several times and the donate program always came up even after I donated 5 dollars and then clicked the box "Do not show (donate) this again" to no avail. Re-downloading and reinstalling from 2 different sources made no difference.

Tried opening an SSA file with UTF-8 text, but the program won't take, giving me an error. Tried many other subtitling programs before this and they all open without a problem.

Have been using Submagic since 2005 as my main subtitle tool and never had a problem (ie crashing like previous comment). I find it versatile with many functions from sync issues to editing and fixing many other problems. It is and will remain one of those essential pieces of software in my video tools.

While there isnt a Manual for it, It really isnt that difficult to learn if you play with it. Just click some buttons to see what it does to the subtitle file and play away. I used this when I noticed that the 700MB Avi file I had started speaking 6 seconds before the .srt showed the words on the screen. In one click (using the "Synchronize" function) I was able to change all the subs to start 6 seconds earlier. An must have for those who want to hardcode subtitle files to their movie files.

Great tool, Good idea, nice interface but only to *.avi or *.mpg files it doesnt support DVD files (*.Vob) that hurts!
