Reading test using Nero CD-DVD Speed shows a nice curve up to 3.5GB. After, the curve is slightly unregular, but the drive does reach its max speed of 8x at the end.
My PlayStation 2 won't accept these 16x discs (they do work on my cousin's PS2 though)

I had to replace RITEKG04 by RITEKF1 in the firmware (using MediaCodeSpeedEdit) to be able to burn these discs.

Awsome media, have always used Traxdata media as they always use Ritek Grade A Dye, very compatible with Lite-On drives and most household DVD Players.
Used the 8x Dvd-r before and they are also a great disc being superseeded now by the 16x. Before you buy any writable media always do your groundwork to check for compatibilty first.
