This media is VERY unpredictable. I've had my best burns with this media and my worst burns. It's so unreliable that I'm forced to run CD-Speed after every burn, or at the very least keep images on my HD until after I've watched the entire disc.

I routinely get burns with a CD-Speed quality score of 0 (which occasionally, but not always, play fine in one of my two players) but usually the scores average in the 30-70 score. I've had 3 quality scores at 95 or better, including one at 98. The dye appears to be unevenly spread as a burn will start out looking great but then go to hell half way through before finishing up great. I usually burn at 6x instead of 8x but I don't think it matters.

These are not hub printable although they look it from the clear plastic case. Images do print well on them though.

Media is coded as Taiyo Yuden. Has problems with about 1/3rd to a half at the 93%-97% area on verifying. Must be rejects due to dye issues?

Media has worked great for me! Advertised at 8X burn speeds, but I have been able to burn to this media at 12X with no problems (I ALWAYS verify data)! I'm using a NEC 3500A (Mad Dog Version) with the 2.FD Firmware.
I was worried because it was so cheap ($15 for 50), but so far it's one of the best I've had!
