This media is not for the NEC 1300a. It won't burn at 4x. When it burn at 2x, only the first 2.5 GB is readable by my PC with Windows XP Pro. If you have a NEC 1300a don't get this media even it is cheap. There are other cheap media better suit this burner.

I tried these discs on a Teac DV-W50E, which usually gives excellent results on all media, and they are the only media which have ever failed. 8 Friends tried them on various burners - not one worked out of 75 discs. they appear to record, but cannot be read, even by the drive that created them. These are the worst discs I have ever used.

I bought a 25-pack, NONE of the discs worked.
I tried burning them at 1x - 4x with both Nero and Record Now. I tried burning PS2 games, and movies and i tried the discs in several differnt players and NONE worked. Either i got a crappy 25-pack or this media sucks really badly. I wouldnt recommend anyone to buy this crap, unless you really feel like throwing away your money, and in that case you can send your $20 to me instead. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CRAP!! I hope that Nanya company will burn in hell :)

2nd Test...Still doesn't work at 4x with my Nec 1300a.
Tried a Hacked firmware so i could try to burn at 4x. Didn't work. So i flashed again with latest official firmware.
After 200 DVDs burned, i can say 10% of them are bad.
Thoses which are well burned can play on my Yamada (Umax) 2100.
Conclusion : These DVD are good for the price but id don't feel safe with them. Better buy Arita Ritek.

Media is said to work at 4x with Nec 1300a but doesn't. Nero shows only 2x. Tried all firmwares.
One shows 4x but doesn't burn.
At 2x, burns well. DVD ok when read on PC.
Doesn't work in my DVD Player which reads everything (Yamada 2100)

Verry good media at a competative price I currently use Ritek G04 and have no problems at all with this type of disk but I have also started to use the Nan ya disk and again they are coming up trumps a couple of blow outs but nothing to bad way better than Princo but not quite Ritek
