I use lots of these for DVD-Video. Buy them in 3-piece boxes. They are generally good; but once, in one delivery of 30 pieces, we have produced 10+ coasters. We did not buy from the same package. When vendor got new package, we bought again and had good results again. Very few coasters generally.

I'd rather use DVD-R DL but my Mac G4 (OS X 10.4.4) System Profiler sees burner as DVD+R DL only, which isn't true according to laCie.

No playback problems.. burned 9 discs in total.. some had a very tiny dip on layer break during cd speed.. very tiny tho.. like 1mm on the screen.. otherwise no playback problems.. basically the same setup as the guy below.

Burns flawlessly on NEC3500A. Read back curve was smooth as Verbatim DL on Liteon LTC-48161H. No problems on layer break with Philips DVP-462 standalone.

Worked well for me using CloneDVD using all the default options. I used a DELL 16x DVD+/-RW Dual Layer (I do not know who DELL uses) and it playes well on the Panasonic S29 (not in the list. I marked S27)
